The Poreč Triptych of the Madonna and Child

Poreč Basilica, Poreč, Croatia

The presence of a fully detailed image of the Father indicates a late medieval date. St. James is identified on the right by his pilgrim's staff, St. John the Baptist on the left by the lamb to which he points, his garment of camel hair, and his cross-topped vexillum with ECCE AGNUS DEI  ("Behold the amb of God") on the banner.

The predella comprises three reliefs, left to right: the Adoration of the Shepherds, the Circumcision, the Resurrection.
