Christ with St. Edward the Confessor and St. John the Evangelist

Circa 1913
Stained glass window
Church of St Edward the Confessor, Westcott Barton, England
Tentatively attributed to John Hardman and Company

St. John is identified by the chalice with a snake (in this case, winged as if it were a dragon), St. Edward by the ring in his right hand. Edward's ring and his juxtaposition with John refer to the miracle of the ring narrated in the former's vitas.
