Prospero Bresciano, Moses Fountain

1588
Largo Santa Susanna, Rome

The Moses statue in the middle is generally considered an artistic failure. Its contemptuous reception in 1588 led to the sculptor's death. The relief on the left represents Moses' water miracle. I am not sure what the relief on the right represents.

The fountain itself is called the Acqua Felice and was designed by Domenico Fontana.
