Local Name: La Virgen del Carmen, more formally Nuestra Señora de Monte Carmelo.

Basis for Identification: Brown habit with bib, child on left arm whose right hand is raised in blessing, scapulars.

Other characteristics: White veil on Virgin, white gown on child.
