Christ seated in the pretorium

Local Name: El Dios de la Peña.

Basis for Identification: Seated, hand on face, holding rod, blood streaming from forehead.

Other characteristics: Golden robe, red cape, decorated cloth headband.

Site: Church of Santiago Tilantongo.

Location: In a glass case in the first bay of the north wall of the nave (see note).
