The Resurrection of the Body of St. Catherine

Last third of 16th century
Refectory Museum of the Cathedral of St. Mary, Pamplona, Spain

The title of the painting was supplied by the museum and looks appropriate, if not exactly consistent with the then-universal belief that Catherine's body was at Mount Sinai, to which it had been transported by angels from Alexandria.
