La Reina de la Paz

Patron Saint of El Salvador

The title means "Queen of Peace" and was first applied to the Virgin in Toledo at the reconquest of that city in the 11th century. La Reina de la Paz is the object of devotion throughout Latin America and is the patron saint of El Salvador. Her feast day is January 24.
