From a tympanum in Notre Dame de Paris

The above photos are of the upper and middle registers of the tympanum. In the middle register, Christ (in the center, with the cross on his halo) has come with his angels (at either end of the bier) to take his mother to Heaven. In the upper register, she sits beside him on a double throne as an angel crowns her and Christ blesses her with his right hand (in his left is what appears to be a candle or wand).
