The Apse Mosaic at San Clemente: Detail, Isaiah

Isaiah's scroll reads Vidi Dominum sedentem super solium, "I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne" (Isaiah 6:1). Isaiah 6 is the source of some of the imagery in the Book of Revelation, which has strongly influenced the mosaic as a whole.
