Santa María de la Asunción Nochixtlán
Asunción Nochixtlán is a town of almost 15,000 in the Mixteca region of Oaxaca state. Shield of the
                Ayuntamiento of NochixtlanIt was entirely depopulated owing to epidemics in the years following the Spanish arrival to Mexico but then re-established by Francisco Orozco and about 50 Mixtec intellectuals and commerçants. In the church we will examine the altar of El Señor de la Misericordia.
