The Jonah Sarcophagus: Detail, loading Jonah's ship

The man in the center stands at the gangplank and is scantily clad like the men on the ship, so he is probably also a sailor, taking a basket of fish for the journey from the man on the left, whose profession may be deduced from his tunic and hair style, which duplicate those of the fisherman on the far right of the sarcophagus. The basket is full, and there are still some fish in the water, but the scene does not exhibit the rich variety of marine life surrounding the fisherman in the corresponding scene.
