Madonna della Salute

Chapel of St. Camillo
Church of Santa Maria Maddalena, Rome

The Salute in the title means "health," which was the focal mission of the order founded by St. Camillo. As in other images of the same title and type, the child points to his mother with one hand while placing his other hand on hers. As usual, Mary's mantle is blue and bears a star on the shoulder.
