The Execution of the Amorite Kings

Five kings attacked Gibeon in retaliation for that city's making peace with Joshua. But Joshua defeated their forces, captured them, and ordered them executed. See Joshua 10:15-27. In the upper register of the mosaic, Joshua is ordering the execution. In the lower register, the order is carried out.
