Unidentified Monk Basis for Identification: Tonsure,
cowl. Other characteristics: On the breast
of the cowl are the words: "EL PERDON DE LOS PECADOS"
("The forgiveness of sins"). This is a phrase from the Apostles' Creed. Site: Former convento of San Pedro y
San Pablo, Teposcolula. Location: In the southwest corner of the long room along the west wall (see note).
